Types of Electrolysers
In January 2023, the Indian cabinet approved the National Green Hydrogen Mission, targeting 5 million metric tonnes of green hydrogen capacity by 2030. This initiative aims to position India as a global hydrogen hub, requiring an estimated INR 8 lakh crores (USD 100 billion) investment. Key components include renewable energy, water, and electrolysers, which may account for up to 36% of production costs.
