Before diving into Southwest’s specific terminal, it’s important to understand the layout of Orlando International Airport. MCO has a hub-and-spoke design with one main terminal building (divided into Terminal A and Terminal B), and four satellite airsides: Airside 1, 2, 3, and 4. These airsides are accessible via an Automated People Mover (APM) system that shuttles passengers between the main terminal and the gates.
