Classic, feminine Monique Lhuillier style is translated into wedding dresses

Just like her wedding gowns, Monique Lhuillier's bridesmiad gowns are soft, feminine, beautifully draped, and utterly classic. The colors are vibrant without having to be overpowering, from the neutral taupe to some cerise pink to some unique grey-green. While all of the designs incorporate a floor-length skirt, the necklines and sleeves vary in coverage. The collection would complement elegant garden ceremonies in addition to sophisticated ballroom celebrations.

Pretty, yet subtle, tulle and chiffon draping gives each gown a vintage, timeless feel. A one-shoulder design is beautifully elegant, while an empire waist gown having a reverse halter neck feels a little more bohemian. Both V-neck and strapless designs have a hint of the high-low skirt, using the front hitting just over the ankles. A sweet gown with fluttering sleeves is surprisingly sexy, thanks to some high slit. And one dress, a V-neck gown with spaghetti straps, includes delicate lace appliqués around the hips.
