Don't get me wrong, I do agree this is a problem that will turn away some fresh players. But every MMO at the history of OSRS gold ever has problems with stuff like this. And"check the youtube connection to acquire 50m" is much less of a concern than the literal UI of the match.

I will say from experience I haven't remained on games which promote RWT the way it's on OSRS. The only reason I play is because I have been enjoying. But for a brand new player this is not what they need to see.

I believe at this point among the only thing they can do about gold and robots sellers is to prohibit the gold buyers. These buyers are the only reason why they exist and unlike bot farms that they invest time in their character and will not wish to take any greater risk.

The main reason is that Jagex does not allocate almost enough resources in to botbusting and anti-cheating. It's ridiculous to even hope to Buy Rs gold get a handful of individuals, like 4 or 3, to catch any significant quantity of rulebreaking.Archeage did to gold buyers. Gold will be eliminated and any items bought with the gold will be too.

Unfortunately they did these things because they wanted to possess the gold buyers undergo the in game money shop.

That I think the biggest turn off for new players is that the scamming and phishing that is so rampant in this community, It is horrifying and sad. I'm an experienced participant and I think it's unacceptable that jagex allows this crap to continue going.
