Japanese streetwear label Human Made and founder NIGO are no strangers to the adidas brand, as demonstrated by a number of collaborative releases throughout the years. With the likes of the adidas skor dam nmd and the adidas Marathon TR, NIGO has allowed Human Made to explore and revive some of the Three Stripes’ lesser-known models. For their next collaboration, the legendary designer has searched through the sportswear brand’s archive to deliver a Boost-cushioned slip-on that references adidas’s kung fu shoes.

A mix of Primeknit and molded construction throughout the upper indulges in matte-silver detailing, while tongues and heels opt into pitch-black compositions. To denote the pair’s collaborative nature, “SNS” logos replace the Three Stripes‘ branding on the tongue (at least on one of the shoes). Underfoot, adidas ultra boost herr rea technology delivers data-driven, 3D-printed cushioning to the sleek model in an equally smart tonal style.

As a brand that has gradually been embracing a diverse audience, Nike demonstrates themes such as peace and harmony throughout its footwear. Releases such as the “Peace, Love, and Basketball” pack, which featured silhouettes such as the Nike Air More Uptempo, have exhibited cheery designs that promote positivity. The feel-good styles continue with an upcoming nike air force 1 dam beige that has a hidden symbol of unity.

Nike is gearing up to add another silhouette to its expansive performance arsenal – the Epic React running shoe. Aesthetically, this new running silhouette sports a unique heel design that sticks out past the model’s upper, creating a small ledge that surrounds this offering’s heel. Its heel tab also comes equipped with “Epic React” branding emblazoned in a similar type face to the upcoming nike air max 270 react dam design.
