Places where Mithril can be mined include the RS gold south-west region of the lava maze, north of Al-Kharid, south Crandor island, south-west of Lumbridge, and of course the Dwarven mines (including the mining guild) There are just two runite rock formations in the non-member world! They are located north of the Lava-Maze. Mining is an excellent skill that will quickly bring you cash! I recommend it to everyone.

There are two types of cooking: cooking fish/meat and cooking bread/pies/stews/pizzas/cakes. Since raw fish and meat sell for more than cooked versions, it's not economically efficient to cook them. This is due to the fact that many consumers want to experience the pleasure of cooking and will buy more expensive fish that is not cooked. Cooking fish or meat isn't profitable.

On the other hand cooking bread/pies/pizzas/stews/cakes is very profitable. They are very profitable because you literally don't spend any money to make them. A bowl (4 coins), a potato (free from the farmer) and some meat (free) are all you require to cook a stew. You've paid 4 coins for a stew bowl that has a value of 163 and growing. You've just accumulated 159 coins. Although it might not seem to be a lot, it can quickly add up.

Runecrafting is basically making runes from pure essence. It is only lucrative for members because they are able to create all expensive runes that require a significant amount of money. Non-members cannot craft the six basic runes (Earth and Air Water, Fire, and Body), which are nearly useless.

There are those who would suggest going to Demonic Ruins. But I think it is dangerous because it's far from civilization. The closest bank is distant.
