At FeelTimes, we never can pass up a great occasion, and, well...this is the growing season!

Molly and David's storybook farm wedding, filled with burgundy bridesmaid dresses, is a for the holly, jolly, and uber fabulous books!

How have you met your Fiancé?

In May of 2009, soon after we finished our freshman year of school, David and I met through mutual friends throughout a girl’s particular date! We both immediately felt fireworks! We spent the entire night awkwardly attempting to gain the other’s attention, but I was nudged in the right direction and because of the other telephone number.

We nervously texted backward and forwards for several days, then finally planned to satisfy up. We spent two and a half hours in the restaurant just talking. When we finally felt like we'd to leave, we went for any walk within the park and continued to speak non-stop. That day virtually sealed the offer. We were head over heels!

Tell us concerning the proposal!

In April of 2014, David and I traveled to Hawaii with some friends. The trip was planned quickly, so between might David’s sneaky hints he couldn’t afford a diamond ring, I was certain Hawaii wouldn't be where we've got engaged. We got to Hawaii and immediately started considering what hikes to take. One that kept appearing was the Haiku Stairs, also known as the Stairway to Heaven. Though this was technically an illegal hike, I was eager to do it and obtain to the top of the mountain. The first day we tried, we've got lost within the jungle. I was furious that I was lost and took it on David, while our friends couldn’t stop laughing simply because they knew he planned to propose as we ever made it up. We finally needed to give up for your day, but David was adamant about us doing that hike therefore we tried again the following morning.

We ought to luck the 2nd day and began the hike around 4 that morning. It was terrifying climbing on the side of the mountain in the dark while rain drizzles recorded on you, but after many tears from everyone within our group, we made it up. We recovered from your experience while waiting for that sun to increase. As soon as it peaked with the clouds, David got recorded on one knee and proposed. It was this kind of amazing adventure and made for that perfect proposal story.

How have you chosen the place for your wedding? What type of venue had you been looking for?

Growing up within the country, I always felt an association with the outdoors. David and I both like to hike, explore, or simply be outside, so I knew I wanted an outdoor wedding if at all possible. Based on attempting to be outside, and attempting to be close to family and home, we chose to have the wedding on my small family’s farm. It is a special spot to me, where I’ve spent a long time exploring and enjoying space from all the noise of everyday life. I think it is becoming more special since I now live within the city and find it difficult to find a quiet place where I feel grounded.

On one for reds of this property, facing the county road is an old metal red barn that my grandparents bought years ago that people have employed for birthday parties, holiday celebrations, graduation parties, sleepovers, and my way through between. It is near as special because of the land. We chose to use the barn for that reception and possess the ceremony within the pasture behind it. We needed additional room for tables for the guests, therefore we rented a sizable tent to butt up towards the barn back porch. We also wound up renting a tent to place the guests under for that ceremony since there was a possibility of rain around the wedding day, but we still desired to move forward with our original location. In the finish, it had been perfect. Every single detail was perfect.

How have you decided on your bridesmaid's dresses? Tell us about your experience at feeltimes!

I have a friend that has been a bridesmaid in multiple weddings recently, so I requested her suggestion around the best spot to find bridesmaids' dresses. She recommended FeelTimes, therefore we decided to schedule an appointment in the Dallas location to locate the perfect dress for those of my bridesmaids!

We had a lot of fun shopping at FeelTimes! My bridesmaids are somewhat scattered across Texas, but we finally found a period that 4 out of the 5 could come to join, including my mom! We had brunch next door to Bella before our appointment time then walked right over. We were greeted warmly and all of the girls there helped us search for any dress that came within the color I wanted.

At the end of the day, we found an outfit that worked for everybody in my group (all who vary in physique, height, and elegance). The dresses looked stunning on everyone, and the color against the fall sunset was breathtaking. We were all very pleased using the final result.

Who designed your wedding dress? Where have you got it?

My wedding dress came from FeelTimes.

What was your preferred part from the day?

It is nearly impossible that I can pick my favorite moment. Everything about this day couldn’t happen to be more perfect. Overall, I think my favorite moment was dealing with hearing my husband’s vows. He typically doesn’t express his emotions verbally, therefore it hit me hard hearing him promise to battle for us for the rest of our way of life. I loved that people wrote our very own vows simply because they were unique and personal for all of us.

What inspired you whenever you were planning your special day?

We attempted to focus on our personalities, our love for that woods, and keeping things easy and not too showy. It’s very easy to go overboard but it’s good not to focus an excessive amount on what elaborate weddings you'll find on Pinterest, but more on what expresses the love most people are coming together to celebrate.

What advice have you got for other brides?

Surround yourself together with your closest and many dear friends and let them know how loved they're continuous. I attempted to do this with my five bridesmaids, also it made for that best morning of ever! I tried to not pressure them or ask an excessive amount of them because my girls have busy, happy lives also it’s tough to squeeze in all of the activities which are expected of bridesmaids. They all explained that I was this kind of easy bride after which I got to invest all Saturday morning with 5 ladies who knew how loved they're and who explained how loved I am. I couldn’t become more proud of these girls. They seriously kept me grounded with the whole wedding ceremony planning process also it wouldn’t happen to be near as amazing each day without them.
